A delightful surprise! The hostel provided an authentic camping experience with the random stuff thrown all over and the broken stove. So charming!

The location of this hostel is absolutely spot on! It's not noisy at all, and the backpacker atmosphere is so laid back, it's incredible. Plus, the price is just right for what you get. The kitchen is super clean with big fridges and all the necessary cooking utensils. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, I couldn't believe how comfy it was! The manager Liam is the friendliest guy ever, he really knows how to run this place smoothly. And another great thing is that the doors have codes for added security. The public facilities are always squeaky clean, thanks to the daily cleaning service. And get this, they actually have a storage room, I've never seen that in any other hotel before! All the people staying here are so polite, and the staff at the front desk are incredibly patient. I had such a fantastic 6-night stay here and can't wait to come back with my friends.

Poolside Bliss: I was in awe of the tranquil outdoor swimming pool at this hostel. It felt like diving into a refreshing oasis, a welcome escape from the scorching Australian heat. I could laze around for hours, sipping my tropical cocktail, and basking in pure bliss. It was like being on a luxurious island retreat, without emptying my wallet.

A minor annoyance that disrupted my sleep.

Located in the heart of the CBD, this hostel is just minutes away from the Parliament House and major attractions in the city. The common areas and kitchen were clean and well-maintained, with big fridges and utensils. Beds were comfortable and the staff was friendly. The pool and the bathroom facilities were fresh and spotless.

The aircon filters were quite dirty, and the showers were not always cleaned frequently enough.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us. It was very close to the center and everything was easily accessible, even the noisy pub nearby didn't bother us much. The common areas of the hotel were really nice, particularly the swimming pool. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel comfortable during our stay. Cleanliness was also notable.

I had a fantastic stay at this place. The location was superb, conveniently situated next to Parliament House and on the main Mitchell street. I loved how close it was to shops and pubs, making it easy to explore the area. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. The room amenities were top-notch, including air conditioning, ironing facilities, and a dining table. The outdoor swimming pool was a great spot to relax and enjoy the sun, and the bbq facilities allowed for socializing with other guests. The Wi-Fi worked well in common areas, making it convenient to stay connected.

Amazing pool and regularly organised events made for a great social atmosphere. The shower and toilets were always clean.

The lockers in the rooms were too small for backpacks, leaving people to leave their belongings, including food, on the floor. The rooms and fridges needed to be cleaned as past guests' possessions were left scattered.

Dirty bathrooms, unclean public areas and unhygienic conditions in the dorm rooms. Unclean bedding in the private rooms, noisy air conditioning, filthy bathrooms, dripping cold water in the public showers and heaps of rubbish lying around.

The atmosphere and friendly crowd at the hostel were amazing. We had a great time socializing and meeting new people. The location was also convenient, with easy access to bars, downtown, and the beach. The pool was a nice addition too.
